Emerging Leaders Program 2018-03-13T02:40:04+00:00

Supporting women in business, from the beginning

Our Emerging Leaders Program is focused on building great women leaders.

Designed for ambitious female leaders rising through the ranks – from individual contributors and managers to directors on the cusp of executiveship –  the EWF Emerging Leaders Program equips and empowers women in management with the tools, strategies, and insights to drive success.

A year-long, dynamic combination of lecture, discussion, assessments, and exercises, the program helps participants to:

  • Better understand themselves, boost their strengths, and develop their gap areas

  • Lead and inspire diverse teams with varying communication and work styles

  • Evolve from an individual contributor to a team leader, and from a manager to director to executive

  • More effectively delegate, optimize team performance, and develop their teams

  • Drive management performance with key leadership competencies

  • Extend their influence within their organization and industry

  • Develop financial, business, and strategic acumen

  • Resolve conflict, confront and defuse challenging situations, and deal with difficult employees

  • The Emerging Leaders Program is a combination of lectures, discussions, assessments, and exercises. The program spans 12 months with a total of 24 hours of intense training delivered in monthly 2-hour meetings for feedback and reinforcement of lessons.

  • Participants better learn how to make strategic decisions, sharpen their business acumen, and strengthen their leadership competencies.

  • Participants receive the Lumina Spark Assessment: A 40-page profile outlining strengths, leadership personas, and developmental areas. These principles are reinforced throughout the year to help participants better understand themselves, read their peers and leadership, and develop tactics for communicating and navigating their organizations more effectively.

  • Most importantly, this program provides training in the areas of leadership skills, executive presence, and influence. We emphasize developing business acumen, change management, managing difficult situations or people, and crafting and managing their personal brand to chart their own professional path as they rise through the ranks.

EWF International has supported
women’s leadership development for over 20 years.

EWF International is passionate about supporting women in business. We offer a popular public Emerging Leaders Program in Dallas annually for fees of $2,450 per year for individuals, or $2,100 per year for companies that wish to send two or more participants. Drive your company’s growth by developing great women leaders.

Through the EL Program, I have learned how to see the bigger picture and help other people to see it. My Lumina Spark report is very valuable to better understand myself and my colleagues and improve job performance and working relationships. Free discussions with my classmates about everyday challenges and solutions helped me to understand potential business situations and ways to overcome them. The class has helped me to expand my own thinking and start dreaming big.
